People Loving People in the Park

Join the People Loving People team for outreach in the park.  Join us as we gather homeless friends and other guests for a time of fellowship, worship music and food.  Volunteers can help with pre-event setup, post event take-down and clean up.  Or they can help through cooking (barbeque) or serving food to the guests.  We also are looking for those wanting to use their creative worship gifts to join the worship team through singing, instrument playing, poetry or spoken word.

The Chicago Rooftop Encounter

When God looks at the cities of the world, what does He see?  In Acts chapter 10, Peter went up on a rooftop to pray. On the rooftop, he received a vision of God's heart for those without Christ 'beyond the walls'.  The Chicago Rooftop Encounter is an opportunity for Christians to gather on Sunday, May 20 on the 99th floor of the Willis Tower, look across Chicago, and seek a fresh vision of God's heart for those lost (hopeless, without faith), those with less (poor, vitimized), and those who lead (cultural influencers).  The Chicago Rooftop Encounter is one of over a dozen Rooftop Encounters that will occur in cities around the world on May 20.  The event is free.  Register at www.therooftop.org/us.
